TheAnthroGeek

The Study of Humanity’s Geekiest Blog

Yesterday, on December 3rd, 2025, “Theanthrogeek.COM” was relaunched by thieves.

18 years ago, , I launched my blog content and sent it to “Theanthrogeek.COM”. Here is my first post:

Getting started

December 6, 2007

I’m now launching into the wide worlds of “anthroplogius digitalius”, bear with or with out me as a get me sea legs.

Ahoy!

This relaunch is the result of piracy. They scooped up theanthrogeek.COM after my ownership lapsed, then had an AI slightly modify my 18 years of published content. It is basically my original content, with a few AI-generated embellishments. There are two original stories at the top, but everything before that is originally mine.

Once I found out that I no longer owned theanthrogeek.COM, I bought theanthrogeek.ORG and moved everything over there. Actually, all the content is generated from a WordPress blog I’ve had for many years, which hasn’t changed. I’ve just had to redirect all the content from theanthrogeek.COM to theanthrogeek.ORG.

Again, I am the original creator and copyright owner of all content published under the name “TheAnthroGeek.” I launched the site in December 2007 and have continuously maintained and published my writings through a WordPress blog under this title.

My authorship during this entire period is fully documented through:

  • WordPress publishing records,
  • Archive.org (Wayback Machine) captures from 2007 onward,
  • Backups and drafts of posts,
  • External references linking my work to TheAnthroGeek.com during the years I operated it.

After the accidental lapse of the domain registration, a third party obtained TheAnthroGeek.COM without my permission and is now reproducing my copyrighted work. This use is unauthorized and violates my exclusive rights under U.S. copyright law.

I have never licensed, transferred, sold, or granted permission for my writings to be republished, hosted, copied, or displayed by the current owner of TheAnthroGeek.COM.

I am currently directing my active WordPress blog to a new domain, TheAnthroGeek.ORG, which is the rightful and authorized home for my continued work. My authorship and ownership of all original content remain unchanged and legally intact.
